Leander Lee James has extensive experience in civil litigation; he has served as the President of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and is its Amicus Chairperson. Mr. James graduated from the University of Santa Clara in 1983 with a B.A. in English, emphasis in writing. Thereafter Mr. James gained a wide-variety of experience as a school teacher in France, editor, carpenter and commercial fisherman in Alaska. Mr. James graduated from the University of Idaho School Law in 1993. Mr. James is admitted to practice law in the States of Idaho and Washington, including the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He is rated BV with Martindale Hubble. His practice emphasizes personal injury and property litigation, insurance law, medical malpractice and employment law. Mr. James is actively involved with the Idaho Legislature to protect and advance the rights ofthe seriously injured, children and others who lack a voice in our society. He lives on a family farm south of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with his wife and four children.
